This graphic adventure tells the life of Harriet Tubman from the time she was born a slave on a Maryland plantation through the end of the Civil War. Everything she accomplished was in spite of a handicap: she was injured by a heavy weight as a little girl and had dizziness and blackouts the rest of her life. But that did not stop her from running north to freedom on the “Underground Railroad.” And it did not stop her from going back to the South to rescue other slaves. How many can she save before she is recaptured??? Read the Chester Comix adventure to find out!
